Free Virtual Event Terms and Conditions
TICKETS
These are the terms and conditions (the “Agreement”) governing your attendance and participation in the Event. All tickets to the Event are free, but registration is required. By registering for the Event you agree to these terms, which form a binding legal contract between the Event owner and producer Lighthouse Magic Maze Inc. (“Lighthouse”) and the registered ticket holder (“you” or “Holder”). If you are registering on behalf of another individual, it is your responsibility to ensure the person participating is aware of these terms and accepts them. By completing the registration on behalf of another individual you are warranting that you have made the Holder aware of these terms and that they have accepted these terms.
Your registration as a Holder of a valid ticket entitles you to access the online Event. Any and all costs associated with your attendance and access shall be borne solely by you, and Lighthouse shall have no liability for such costs.
By registering for the online Event, you agree not to sell, trade, transfer, or share your ticket or access, unless such transfer is granted or approved by Lighthouse.
Lighthouse shall have the right at any time to immediately terminate the online Event without liability. Lighthouse shall also have the right to seize, revoke or cancel your ticket and your access, or expel you from the online Event, upon any breach by you of the terms of this Agreement, without liability.
Children cannot attend or access the online Event without adult accompaniment. Children are classified as being under 16 years of age. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied at all times by an adult 21 years of age or older throughout the online Event.
You acknowledge and agree that Lighthouse reserves the right to remove you from the online Event if Lighthouse, in its sole discretion, determines that your participation or behavior, or that of any children or attendees for whom you are responsible, create a disruption or hinder the Event or the enjoyment of the Event content by other attendees.
By participating in the online Event you acknowledge and agree to grant Lighthouse and its agents and assigns (including Starvox Exhibits Inc., Starvox Entertainment Inc., Show One Productions and Lighthouse Immersive Inc., together referred to as “Lighthouse Group”) the right at the Event to record, film, live stream, photograph, or capture your likeness in any media now available or hereafter developed and to distribute, broadcast, use, or otherwise globally to disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval from you or any payment to you. This grant to Lighthouse Group includes, but is not limited to, the right to edit such media, the right to use the media alone or together with other information, and the right to allow others to use or disseminate the media.
By registering for the Event and providing your email address, which is required to complete the registration and to send you Event reminders and receipts, you agree to receive ongoing emailed special offers, priority ticket opportunities and event announcements from Lighthouse Group. You may opt-out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link from any email received.
You may not record or broadcast audio or video of any part of the Event. All intellectual property rights in and to the Event are owned or licensed by Lighthouse. You may not use or reproduce or allow anyone to use or reproduce any Event content or materials without the prior written permission of Lighthouse.
Lighthouse gives no warranties in respect of any aspect of the Event or any materials related thereto and expressly disclaims any liability whatsoever from any action or cause of action arising from the Event. Neither Lighthouse nor any Lighthouse Parties shall be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential costs, damages or losses arising directly or indirectly from the Event or other aspect related thereto or in connection with this Agreement.
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the parties shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Ontario courts. All parties agree that this Agreement is the complete and exclusive statement of the mutual understanding of the parties and supersedes and cancels all previous written and oral agreements, communications and other understandings relating to the subject matter of this Agreement, and that all modifications must be in writing signed by both parties.
