COVID-19 Update

Updated: Dec 24th, 2021

In order to ensure safety of all our patrons and staff, effective December 26th Magic Immersive will require all patrons 18 years and older to be fully vaccinated with one of the World Health Organization approved COVID vaccines.

All patrons 18 years and older will need to show proof of vaccination and a matching ID upon entry to Magic Immersive. Patrons with a valid medical or religious exemption from vaccination must provide written proof of the exemption, plus proof of a lab-based negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the entry time, or a lab-based negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within 6 hours of the scheduled entry time.

Proof of vaccination can be in the form of the original vaccination card or record, a clear photocopy of this card, or mobile phone photo, or a digital record provided by the administrator of the vaccine. It must show that you have completed your vaccination course. Proof of a negative covid test must show your name, the date and time of the test, the type of test taken and the results. These may be presented on paper or digitally.

In compliance with the City of Chicago indoor mask mandate, all patrons must wear a proper face covering.

Magic Immersive Team

Safety is our number one priority for all guests attending Magic Immersive.

Fabric or disposable face masks that cover both, chin and nose are required for all staff and guests, regardless of your vaccination status.

To ensure your safety, and based on guidance from the CDC and other government agencies, our exhibition will operate with enhanced safety measures including:

  • Touchless hand sanitization stations placed throughout the venue
  • Plexiglass barriers at all payment locations
  • Contactless payment encouraged throughout the venue
  • Enhanced, regular cleaning throughout the day on each floor
  • Contact tracing for all staff and guests

We will continue to closely monitor the situation daily, and adjust our safety measures accordingly, in readiness for our opening. Thanks for your patience and understanding during these challenging times.
